ASTORIA, Ore. – Columbia Memorial Hospital named Nicole Williams its new chief operating officer (COO).
Williams joined the hospital in April 2017. She is assuming day-to-day oversight of CMH’s operations.
Williams was raised in Astoria and has served the community for more than 20 years. Before joining CMH, she served as the CEO of Clatsop Care Health District for four years, and was with Clatsop County government for more than 16 years. Williams holds a master’s degree in public administration.
The chief operating officer position is new to CMH. “This move is extremely important for our organization, especially at this most challenging time in our industry,” said CEO Erik Thorsen. “With a COO and an outstanding leadership team collaborating and working together to continue achieving our essential operational objectives, I can focus on CMH’s long-term future.”
