On April 28, the Surgical Services team participated in a fun walk at the Coast Color Dash benefiting Gearhart Elementary, Broadway Middle School and Seaside Heights. This was a second-quarter staff appreciation and engagement event bringing our surgical team and families together in a fun community event. This event was so much fun, we are already planning to go annually.
As part of CMH’s strategic initiative to enhance the caregivers’ experience, the Surgical Services staff members participate in events each quarter. For the first quarter, we celebrated at Gearhart Bowling with a night of pizza and Rock ’n Bowl. Staff, their families and surgeons rocked the night away, and the competitive nature of the group was in full swing as pins flew! Our third-quarter event tops them all with the construction of a parade float representing Surgical Services and CMH in the 2018 Regatta Grand Land Parade. The theme this year is “Making Waves,” and our team will be!
