Physical Therapy is located in the CMH Health & Wellness Pavilion.

Physical therapy (PT) is for the preservation, enhancement, or restoration of movement and physical function impaired or threatened by disability, injury, or disease. With expert knowledge in spinal manipulation, pain management and physical exercise and training, our strong team of therapists will guide you to recovery and greater quality of life.

CMH uses physical therapy to treat patients of all ages with a wide range of needs, including:

  • Pediatric PT: Exercise programs are used to help a child progress through normal developmental sequences.
  • Pain disorders: Through the use of exercise and other modalities such as massage and electrotherapy, PT can reduce chronic pain and improve functional mobility.
  • Sports injury: Therapists assist athletes in regaining their strength, endurance and agility to compete after an injury.
  • Balance and coordination: Programs to help reduce the risk of falls, assist with vertigo and balance issues, and regain independence.
  • Orthopedics: Treatment for those experiencing joint and spine problems, as well as recovering from orthopedic surgery, using a variety of safe and effective methods.
  • Neurological rehabilitation and muscle re-education: Following a stroke or brain injury, this type of specialized therapy helps patients return to independent living.
  • Aquatic therapy: Buoyancy in water allows people of all ages and many diagnoses to exercise and stretch with less effort and greater freedom of movement.
