Inside Look on Imaging

Columbia Memorial Hospital (CMH) has partnered with Pacific Coast Imaging (PCI) and Virtual Radiologic (vRad) to offer complete diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology services, including:

  • Diagnostic imaging allows your medical team to look inside your body without surgery. Our radiologists (doctor who specializes in reading x-rays and other images) use state-of-the-art technology to read the images and will work with your referring provider to diagnose and treat any disease or injury you may have.
  • If your disease or injury calls for surgery, you may benefit from interventional radiology. This involves using imaging like ultrasounds to guide the doctor as they perform minimally invasive (using the least amount of incisions as possible) procedures. Interventional radiology is less invasive than surgery and patients generally experience shorter recovery times.

Types of Imaging Available at CMH

CMH Imaging Services and its partners offer many different types of radiological procedures. Some of the most common procedures we perform include:

  • CT (computed tomography) and CTA (computed tomography angiography) scans
  • Bone densitometry
  • Digital radiography (DR)
  • Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
  • Mammography
  • Nuclear medicine
  • Ultrasound

Our partner, PCI, has a longer list of imaging procedures we offer with details about what to expect.
