Columbia Memorial Hospital is offering two scholarships that will pay for tuition and books to attend the CNA I training program at Clatsop Community College for the January 2019 starting course.
If you have always wanted to become a CNA, here is your chance. Complete the scholarship application and return it to Kelly Cope, Acute Care Services Manager, by Monday, Dec. 17, 2018. The packet can be emailed to email@example.com or dropped off at the CMH’s Administration office.
The goal of the scholarship is to assist individuals in pursuing CNA licensure. Receipt of scholarship does not guarantee employment at CMH, yet the intent will be to offer the opportunity to apply for available positions and interview all scholarship recipients. Once licensed, the CNA must apply for a position using the CMH application process to be considered for a CNA position.
Talk to a nurse on the CMH COVID-19 Community Hotline at 503-338-4699. This hotline is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
