What does person-centered care mean to you? 
Treating the patient like a person, not a number

What brought you to the community and/or why do you enjoy living here?
I came to Astoria struggling to stand on my own two feet. Now this is my home because of the enormous and wonderful work family that I have become a part of at CMH. My job is truly why I stay in Astoria.

Are you married or do you have a partner?

Do you have any children? How many?
Nala, she’s a sweet five-year-old tabby, who loves to bring me “treats.”

What are your favorite foods?
Steak, cheesecake, brie, oranges, tacos

Where have you traveled?
Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York, Washington and hopefully Mexico soon

Where were you born?

If you could be a dinosaur, which one would you be?
Pterosaurs, because they flew and swam.

What are your hobbies?
Cooking/grilling, beer/wine tasting, reading, hiking, bike riding, music

What did you want to be when you grew up?
An actress

What is your favorite thing about working in primary care?
I really enjoy working in primary care because I love to be challenged and meet my goals. It allows me to have a Planetree moment on a daily basis. Plus you can’t beat my crew!
