Tom Haigler, PA-C, MPAS

Board-certified physician assistant Tom Haigler, PA-C, MPAS, joined the CMH Astoria Primary Care Clinic in April 2021.

Tom has more than 30 years of PA experience, with the last 17 prior to CMH being in primary care in Wyoming. He also served 14 years seeing acute patients as a PA in the U.S. Army. He earned several awards and decorations as a combat veteran.

Tom attended the University of Oklahoma, where he received his bachelor’s degree as a physician associate, and the University of Nebraska, where he completed a master’s in physician assistant studies, family practice.

Tom enjoys primary care and taking care of his own patients. Areas of special medical interest include wellness and treating hypertension, thyroid disease, diabetes and mental health.

In his spare time, Tom likes spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, barbecuing and camping. He, his wife, Emily, and their four dogs relocated to Long Beach, Washington, to be closer to her family.

“I am excited to work with the caring team of providers and specialists at CMH, as well as develop a partnership with my patients so we can work together to provide them with the care that they not only expect, but they deserve,” he says.
