Board-certified nurse practitioner Kristin Lubell joined the Emergency Department at CMH in December 2019.
Kristin earned her doctorate of nursing practice, as well as her master's in nursing, from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky. She also holds a bachelor of arts from Middle Tennessee University and a bachelor of nursing science from Oakland University in Michigan.
Prior to joining CMH, Kristin was the sole provider responsible for 1,400 patients in rural Grant County, Oregon. There, she provided women's health, birth control, well-child checks, primary care, hospice, pain management and addiction treatment services. She has extensive emergency, ICU and flight nurse experience prior to becoming a nurse practitioner.
Kristin describes herself as flexible and versatile, treating each patient with special attention and care. She has volunteered with Doctors Without Borders since 2013 and has experience creating solutions in disparate conditions.
At CMH, Kristin hopes to "continue to deliver care to patients on their worst day, whatever that might be," she says.
