Board-certified physician assistant Eric Holden, PA-C, DHSc joined our Emergency Department in April 2020.
Eric earned his doctor of health science degree, with a global health concentration, from Nova Southeastern University College of Health Sciences. He attended the University of Nebraska College of Medicine for his physician assistant studies, with an emphasis on emergency medicine.
Eric previously worked as a physician assistant in the Emergency Departments at Skyline Hospital in White Salmon, Washington, Klickitat Valley Hospital in Goldendale, Washington, and Pacific Communities Hospital in Newport, Oregon. All of those hospitals are rural and critical access. Since January 2018, he has also been an assistant professor in the School of Graduate Studies at the University of Lynchburg in Lynchburg, Virginia, teaching Global Health.
Eric is married with one daughter. His interests include distance running, scuba diving, hiking, river rafting, collecting vintage watches and playing the ukulele.
