Please join us in welcoming board-certified nurse practitioner Angella McCully, DNP, to our Warrenton Primary Care Clinic, where she began working last week.
Angella previously worked as a primary care nurse practitioner for Tri-Cities Community Health in Kennewick, Washington. She earned her doctor of nursing practice degree, family nurse practitioner, from Washington State University, where she was given the Outstanding DNP Student Award. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she was a registered nurse for several years.
Areas of special medical interest for Angella include providing whole person care across the lifespan, partnering with patients to prevent disease and achieve individualized health and wellness goals, implementing measures to improve health outcomes, and working with community partners to identify and address population and public health needs.
While in school, Angella participated in many councils and committees, as well as quality improvement projects and presentations. She is a longtime volunteer, spending time in service with organizations such as the Walla Walla Stop the Bleed Coalition, YMCA Diabetes Prevention Program, American Red Cross, Cowlitz County Emergency Management Fire District #3 and others.
When she isn’t working, Angella enjoys gardening, cooking, spending time with family and friends and going on weekend outdoor adventures such as hiking, biking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. She and her two teenage sons are excited to move to the area to be closer to family and friends.
“Columbia Memorial has a clear mission to meet the health care needs of the underserved coastal communities of Northwest Oregon and Southwest Washington,” she says, “and I look forward to joining the team and its endeavors.”
