CMH welcomes new Urgent Care provider

Tonya Michlin, FNP-C joins CMH Urgent Care Clinics


Please join us in welcoming board-certified nurse practitioner Tonya Michlin, FNP-C, to our Urgent Care Clinics, where she began working this week.

Tonya earned her master’s in nursing, family nurse practitioner degree from Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, California. She also completed a primary care psychiatry fellowship program at the University of California at Irvine/Davis and a bachelor’s degree in nursing at California State University – Los Angeles.

Tonya has experience working as a nurse practitioner in primary care, pediatrics, internal medicine and urgent care. Prior to joining CMH, Tonya worked for a large urgent care in the Los Angeles area. For most of last year, she focused on treating patients with COVID-19 respiratory symptoms. She is passionate about providing quality patient care and collaborating with other providers and staff to improve patient outcomes.

“I could not be more excited to join the team at CMH,” Tonya says. “I have wanted to become a part of the community of Astoria for some time, and I look forward to helping the people of Clatsop County with all their urgent care needs.”

When she isn’t working, Tonya enjoys fixing up old houses, baking pie, drinking coffee, being outside, traveling and spending time with family, including her son, and friends.
