2017/2018 New Year’s Babies

Welcome babies Hope and Cameron!

ASTORIA, Oregon – Welcoming new babies into the world has to be one of the best jobs in a hospital. Here at CMH, we pause when a lullaby plays in the hospital because we know that it means a new baby was born in the Family Birthing Center.

But New Years is an even more exciting time of the year because we get to say “goodbye” to one year with our last baby of the old year and “hello” to another year with our first baby of the new year. To celebrate these births, the CMH Auxiliary donated a hamper full of diapers and gifts and a pack’n’play to the families of our last baby of the year and our first baby of the year.

Hello Baby!

Meet baby Cameron Joseph Lee, who was born to Deelinda Lee on the morning of Dec. 30, 2017.

Meet our first baby of 2018, Hope Truly Flavin, who was born to Rose Phillippi in the afternoon of Jan. 1, 2018.

Masks continue to be required at CMH for patients, caregivers, and visitors.Learn More
